The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer

3.0

A rom-com that's above average in terms of story backgrounds, depth of characters and elements. Very likable, multilayered characters who have flaws and issues. An intriguing slice of a culture that many readers will find unfamiliar, yet no less appealing. Lots of humor runs through the story arc and there are some unexpected plot twists. An enjoyable story, but with an underlying, yet subtle message about the past and possibilities.
