Daisies and Devotion, Volume 2 by Josi S. Kilpack

4.0

Kilpack does it again, creating a charming Regency romance worthy of Heyer or Austen and making it look effortless. Readers can’t help but love Timothy for his (albeit sometimes flawed) sincerity and joviality, though they may be tempted to knock some sense into him long before he discovers it on his own. Maryann is the heroine for any woman who feels ‘less than’ in any way, and her quiet strength in the face of rejection is inspiring. Witty banter, delicious romantic tension, and endearing characters are only some of the reasons to love this latest Proper Romance novel.
