 As a reminder of how women like us suffer. How quietly we endure all that falls upon us. 

that quote omg i am speechless. i dont even know what to say. this book may be fictional, but we all know that all the shit they've experienced are real. maybe it's even worse. and it hurts so much. how humans are capable of destruction and degradation to their own kind. how we can love and hate a person so much that it makes us do inexplicable things. 

there's a lot to unpack in this book and i dont think i can articulate my thoughts and feelings for this except that it's amazing and i love it.
