Wasn’t what I was expecting, but it was unique enough to keep me invested. What bothered me is there was no cohesion in world building. The 5 women’s stories shared in a support group setting didn’t seem like they could take place in the same plane. Some stories were strictly contemporary, some characters weren’t believed when they told fantastical stories, and still others shared paranormal/fantastical elements and weren’t at all questioned.
