The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter—And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Meg Jay

hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as a 20 some thing I thought that I had a lot of time to figure things out and make certain career and educational changes when I would get a little bit older, but this book puts that back in the forefront of my mind. It allowed me to. It set the stage that our 20s are a foundation (and not that you can’t have this in your 30s) and to take advantage of it now. I love that there were real experiences discussed in the book because it felt validating as a 24 y/o. Because of this book, I started intentionally dating, I applied and got into grad school and I’m making the most out of these years.
