Nature's Mutiny: How the Little Ice Age of the Long Seventeenth Century Transformed the West and Shaped the Present by Philipp Blom

Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.
It was just SO DRY AND BORING. Some of it was interesting, but those bits were overwhelmed by the dry details. I was hoping for more history of the science of the little ice age and its DIRECT effects on culture. But it ended up being more a history of the 17th century. I think the author tied the developments into the climate, but it was too sparse and indirect for my taste.
