i find it incredibly hard talking about every aspect that i didn't enjoy about this book, because i had such a great time reading it and i really wanted to enjoy every single moment.

but honestly, it missed so much. between a great plot concept and interesting characters, the author simply didn't know how to clearly tell us the story.

everything was so rushed that we end up not engaging with the characters feelings and motives. we can't fall in love with the main characters relationship, because they get thrown at us. and we can't get excited by the vengeance, because we don't have a mystery and a build up to those feelings.

all those little things together gives us a feeling of frustration, because all throughout we can see a plot potential that just didn't reach the pages, always trying to get the perfect ending and reminiscing something it never was.
