I did not know where this book was going to go or what would happen. It was a pretty wild ride. One thing that bothered me a little was how overbearing the MC was to her brother the whole book was a lot. I loved getting to know the characters more. It's a little bit slower paced as well, but seeing that this is a lengthy series I'm not surprised.

That ending was pretty crazy, some of it gave a little bit of an ick, but it's not going to stop my overall enjoyment of the book.

Over all I did like it and am curious where things are going from here.
