All We Can Do Is Wait by Richard Lawson

2.0

I enjoyed the writing in this book a lot. There was some repetitive phrasing that irked me. It’s also clear the author was biased, protecting the characters that “needed to be” protected and of course leaving less important characters to deal with their fates. This is in line with what the reader wants, and I’m not mad at it, but just in my personal opinion it felt a little cheap. I didn’t love any of the characters but I liked them and I think their flaws made them more real even if they were less likable. I loved the concept of the book as well; it’s something new that I’ve never seen before in a novel.
