The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis

In the third book of the series, what we have here is a brilliant spinoff tale in the world of Narnia. I love this book for Lewis's world-building. As my previous review of the second book explained, the Biblical allegories are strong throughout the series. "The Horse and His Boy," was a delightful venture into the other worlds surrounding Narnia while keeping the same Biblical themes that carry so much Truth.

I really enjoyed the action and events here, Lewis definitely finds his taste for fiction here as he seamlessly creates new characters are makes their experiences matter just as deeply as the Narnians we know.

Not necessary, but really fun!
