tengen may not be my favourite hashira but oh my gosh I've never wanted to be a man's fourth wife more than I do now, but I'm also a massive simp for his wives so it's a pretty big win.

honestly, this entire volume was so much fun! I know the beginning of this arc is pretty slow, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. tanjiro continues to exude non-toxic masculinity in the best possible way, he really is the best boy. and I love what they did with zenitsu in this volume - I just wish we had more moments where he overcomes his anxiety and cowardice like the ones we get here, to really make his character development more explicit and feel like actual development rather than a handful of isolated incidents. and inosuke being simultaneously the one who can best pass as a woman (he has very feminine features) but also the worst one (he can't speak in falsetto to save his life) is hilarious to me for no good reason. I want to ram his head through the wall.

the next volume is going to be an emotional rollercoaster, so I'll try my best to prepare for that.
