Necessary Targets: A Story of Women and War by Eve Ensler

I didn't respond as well to this play when I compare it to Eve Engler's other works, but it definitely steps into her usual themes of crafting her stories around a particular socio-political message. Instead of covering femininity, sexuality, and the destruction of social taboo's, Necessary Targets discusses how when we try to 'help' people we are often helping ourselves, using the example of two women volunteering their time to 'help' women at a refugee camp.
