This is the first read of the author for me and it was a cute story. But I wanted a little bit more, it felt like there’s something missing.

I liked that Spencer and Sabrina are childhood friends. I absolutely adored that. But when Spencer return home after 6 years, they couldn’t be what they were before. His life was never the same again. There are just so many regrets and secrets between them so it wasn’t an easy journey for them.

The twist in the story was one I didn’t see coming, but I liked it. And Lily, Sabrina’s daughter totally stole the show. She’s so cute and funny. Overall, this was an enjoyable read for me.
