The 4th book in the DCI Jonah Sheens Series was a compulsive page turner. Two sisters go my missing. A week later, DCI Sheens is sitting outside a pub, when one of the sisters walks out of the woods with blood on her. Sheens goes to help, but the sister tells him she's fine, it's her sister he needs to worry about. That starts a story that is an unbelievable page turner.
Lodge racked up the psychological thriller in this one. She had a few twist that were very good. I like the fact that she has continued to grow the characters of DCI Sheens and his time. There's multiple stories on each of them that gives depth to the books. I highly recommend this series.
🙂 Happy Reading 🙂
