Our Town by Thornton Wilder

4.0

I love deceptively simple plots that represent a wider rumination on existence and why were here. This is just that. I don't know that it deserves quite the praise it gets, I feel as though I've read better, but authors I admire and consider sacrosanct have lauded Wilder's famous work as major inspiration and required reading, so I will defer to their professional wisdom and trust that there is a beauty my eyes haven't evolved the cones to see quite yet.
