Slow pace set in the summer. It’s a good book for a day in the sun, when you don’t want anything to surprise you or get your heart thumping. It’s reflective and with a theme of accepting the past for what it is. Not much conflict at all. For me, it was a bit boring but I can see why so many people liked it.
