This novella was so confusing for me, I found myself trying ton understand the world building but also trying to figure out the characters. This is supposed to be the first book in The League series but I found the characters and plot to be very superficial and shallow.
A ton of the book is spent with the main characters shagging in an apartment or contemplating a good romp. It gives the appearance that the overarching plot of the book is happening outside of what the main characters are doing, which is an odd choice.
