I know I've content warning-ed this out the wazoo, but it truly is an excellent read. There's body horror, there's T4T sex, there is a lot of gore and violence, but for all that it might challenge readers, that challenge is important. Manhunter is queer rage writ large, leavened by moments of joy and empathy. It's the perfect antidote to gender apocalypse novels that take the lazy way out (which is most of them, let's be real).
Graphic: Body horror, Body shaming, Death, Emotional abuse, Gore, Physical abuse, Rape, Sexual content, Transphobia, Violence, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Cursing, Domestic abuse, Hate crime, Torture, Grief, and Dysphoria
Minor: Deadnaming
