while I don't hate zenitsu as much as many other people do... I forgot how uncomfortable he makes me sometimes, especially in his introduction. on the bright side, at least we've been somewhat introduced to inosuke, even if his manga design unsettles me a bit.

I loved the tsuzumi mansion plot in the anime, so I was elated going into this volume knowing what it would entail, however I've got to say I prefer its depiction in the anime as opposed to the manga. the anime's production quality and sound design made the scenes in the mansion so much more eerie and immersive than its manga depiction, and that final action sequence was really difficult to follow without the anime's animation.

despite my grievances, I still really enjoyed this volume and it's definitely my favourite so far. off to the next one!
