The Darwin Elevator by Jason M. Hough
2.0
I don't usually review books. And I won't this time, either. I just want to share a couple of opinions...
The premise of the book was fun. The world building and character development, not so much. I found myself not really caring what happened to the characters at all. The protagonist, Skyler Luiken, was not a good leader and had the charisma of a wet sock. He second guessed himself and his crew didn't even respect him. Ick.
I finished the book out of sheer curiosity and I ended up feeling really unsatisfied, and happy it was finished. There are two more books in this series, but I doubt I'll get around to reading them..
