That Boy by Jillian Dodd

Honestly...I didn't feel anything for this book. There wasn't anything exciting to keep me on the edge of my seat. Sure, the romance was cute. But that was really it. The whole book was revolved around the main character's romantic endeavor.
I didn't care for JJ. I know that might sound harsh but it frustrated me how
Spoiler she spent half of the book chasing after guys (or having small flings) when I can clearly see how much Phillip loved her.
One good thing about JJ, though, is that I really saw her grow up. This book takes place in the span of many years. From her freshman year in high school to after she graduated from college. And I could see her mature through the words.
The relationship was cute
Spoiler once JJ realized that Phillip had feelings for her.
But other than that, there wasn't anything to excite me. I am going to pick up the next book in the series, though. I want to know what happens next and they're really fast reads. I hope the following books will be more intersting than this one.
