Scandal Takes the Stage by Eva Leigh

4.0

This was just as much fun as the first book in this series, this time with Elinor and Daniel's best friends, aloof playwright Maggie Delamere and hellraiser Cameron, Viscount Marwood.

Everything I liked from the first one was here - witty banter, independent heroine with a hero who was appreciative of that, a couple who took a second to learn more about each other before declaring their HEA.

I did this on audio, but I feel like I rushed through it in a way I would have appreciated more in print. Still, the reader was good, I just often find myself wishing I had read rather than listened to romance (unless it's Simon Prebble with the Cynster novels), which always surprises me because I generally feel the opposite way.
