ugh I don't know. The romance was cute but the writing honestly gets worse with each book, which I blame more on the editor. There were so many typos in this it felt like reading an arc, and there are certain phrases and words that are repeated ad nauseaum--one is "batted at the air", another is characters biting their lips/cheeks. At one point I got so annoyed by the latter I started counting, and there were 15 instances of a character mauling their own mouth in two chapters. It took me out of the story. There was a dumb miscommunication right at the end of this story too that felt really forced. It was a quick entertaining read but not much substance in this one, and I feel bad saying that so I'll just bite my lip in disappointment.
