Divine Justice by David Baldacci

5.0

Oliver Stone could've gone anywhere in the world. He ended up in Divine.

The Camel Club's penultimate adventure in Divine Justice was the most exciting edition since the series opener.

Stone is on the run from murdering the two men who ordered him to murder on their behalf. His derailed escape lands him in a southwestern Virginia mining community.

The town's dark secrets grip the surviving members of the Club and land them behind the wheel, behind the badge, and behind bars.

I didn't want this one to stop, and the twists at the end were exhilarating. I can only hope the final book lives up to the excitement in Divine and the conclusion Stone and his friends deserve.
