This was amazing! I loved the setting in Edinburgh in the early 1800s, the secrecy, the dark academia vibes and forbidden love. It was a perfect Young Adult novel, mysterious, slightly creepy and exciting, with just the right amount of fantastical elements and a cute love story! This is the perfect book for the fall and I'm glad I discovered it!
