Laura turns out to be someone else and her thirty-something daughter has to figure out what’s going on. But her daughter, Andrea, is incredibly incapable of handling things early in the book and you get the impression she is much younger than her 30+ years. Andrea eventually is able to independently work and move the story forward, amazingly, but I found her incompetence at the start of the book annoying.
