MacLeod's stories show little in common with one another, aside from some very particular Nova Scotian references. His collections never run dull, always providing a new tone in each story. Reflections is a heavy theme throughout this collection of stories, but, once again, never presented in the same way twice. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys reflective works on some of the unpleasant everyday emotions.
