4.5
Tense, creepy and engrossing from the first page to the last - plus one of the best villains there is.
I particularly loved the ending and how King showed the psychological damage and paranoia which Annie instilled in Paul over their time together. Some of the parts made me squeal out loud! Amazingly vivid body horror and horrific psychological torture so well written it feels real.
One that’ll stay with me.
