The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes

(Audio)
I'm definitely not the target audience for this book as a 35 year old woman. This book is great for the 14-18 crowd.
I say thay but then I'm 100% sure there were nods to Mean Girls which is def my age haha.
There was a lot of teenage angst and high school drama. It just got old and felt silly to me.
I love the way the narrator switches seamlessly between english and spanish. I loved the coming out scene. It actually made me cry (in a good way).
The ending was super cheesy in a cute way.
The author does a great job of hitting a lot of topics that are typically seen as taboo, in an attempt to help normalize it, which I appreciate; gay, bi, therapy, coming out, talking to family, ect.
Again, I'm not this book's demographic so a lot of the things I don't like are probably things the target audience will appreciate.
