Know My Name by Chanel Miller
5.0
Chanel said that there’s no such thing as a perfect victim, however she captured perfectly in her words what it’s like to live with PTSD, to live through the unfairness of the judicial system to victims, of the time it takes to seek justice only for no real justice to come. I wanted to reach through the pages and hug her. I cried countless times, laughed when she cracked a joke and talked about fostering the dogs, and felt the warmth of her family’s support throughout the book.
