2020: what can i say, speaks out of heart. wonderful and breathtaking, touching but also ripping me apart. read again in summer

2021: wow. I really really felt it this time, could also see it from another perspective again. I just love this book. all that two bodies one soul stuff is exactly what i enjoy about it… this book is a work of art and a masterpiece. I NEED the sequel!!!

2022: everytime i read this book it feels like there are passages i'm reading for the first time. It's just insane how well and beautifully this book is written. This time around tho, i noticed how completeky destroying and toxic Elio's obsession with Oliver was, especially in the first part. it makes sense tho. but it's still super concerning. loved the book like the first time
