There were a couple twists, but they weren’t very twisty. I didn’t find the characters or relationships or power dynamics very believable or compelling. Ultimately was bored.
I get that Ava was supposed to be an unreliable narrator, but even once that news was broken to the audience, I was like oh… that’s it? 60% of the book was a lie, but not a very interesting one?
