Bat Boy by Christina Lee

3.5

Review:
This book is sweet and simple, predictable but fun.
I think it can be hard for a sports romance novel to strike the right balance with sports content, and this one felt like there was too little baseball content. It easily could have been any other sport, or even some other club. If a book is going to be a sports romance, the sport should be at least somewhat integral to the story.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5: Almost great, but falling short somehow. But more than just tipping the scale into good territory.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4: Brown Girl Spicy (Multiple descriptive and detailed open door scenes; smut is very prominent but it does not overtake plot)

Perspective: first
Tense: past
POV: dual
