The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

5.0

Very addictive read. Great audiobook. I just wanted to keep listening and ended up borrowing the book to finish it off faster. It was refreshing to read about Asian American characters, and I really loved the main love interest. He was the perfect blend of sexy and sensitive.

Yes the plot was a bit cheesy, but I loved every minute of it. Instead of the usual timeline where characters finally end up together at the end. This story had the characters hooking up from the start as Stella hires Michael, an escort, to give her sex lessons. There was so much tension from there as you know how goood they are together and root for them. I also loved the theme of very inexperenced woman being taught by very experienced and gentle man.

The main character has Autism, and I related to her a lot. I also found her to be very funny and endearing. Reading the Acknowledgements at the end, I was pleasantly surprised to find out the author was also diagnosed with Autism late in life.

Overall a great, light, easy read. Would recommend.
