This one had my attention from the prologue! I love when a later pivotal scene is used at the prologue. Makes you hooked right from the start!
Briar goes to Italy after she agrees to an arranged marriage to one of the top Italian Mafia bosses, her uncle is somehow dangerously tied to. But she is convinced while she is there she can gather info to take her uncle and future husband down. Hudson is the undercover FBI agent/bodyguard for said Italian Mafia Boss. Hudson has to watch over Briar, but there is something about her that grabs his attention. He try’s to fight it soooo hard. The hot body guard + a sassy, ballsy FMC? I’ll let you imagine how the rest goes 🤭
I loved this book! Hannah def knows how to write some spicy scenes because wow…😮💨😮💨 the tension and attraction between Briar and Hudson is unforgettable. I loved that this story really gave the mafia aspect, she is set to an arranged marriage but he is unavailable all the time but also wants to keep tabs on her at all times. I liked that the story gave more than just the love story between Briar & Hudson. It gave an underlying story too.
If you love mafia and you love forbidden this will be right up your alley! I can’t wait to see if/what she writes for another mafia story 🖤🖤
