I kept turning pages with this one! It kept me guessing, too. Some characters I liked, others not so much. This book deals with things some might find triggering. Mental health, infidelity, sexual abuse, (both child and adult), parental abandonment and parental death. Just a slew of things because people are messy. We make bad choices and decisions. There are bad people who chose to hurt others. A few characters are either therapist or are/were in therapy. I thought it gave me a lot to think about and explore, (disclosure: I have experienced some of the issues in the story). I will be suggesting it to friends who enjoy psychology and thrillers.
Graphic: Infidelity, Mental illness, and Sexual assault
Moderate: Death of parent, Abandonment, and Alcohol
