i’m so blown away by this book and this couple. i’m a little bit at a loss for words right now, but i will try to convey my feelings.
there are only a few couples from books that i’ve read that i would genuinely consider to actually be soulmates. january & gus, naomi & nicholas, bridget & rhys, liz & wes. i truly believe that all of these couples would find each other in every lifetime. they’d go to the ends of the earth for their partner. they have the tools to work through any obstacle, in their lives and relationship, together.
i am now officially adding larynn and deacon to that list. these two have just grasped my heart and refuse to let go. i will be thinking about this book for SEVERAL weeks. i’m not quite sure how to move on from them.

Graphic: Death of parent, Emotional abuse, and Sexual content
Moderate: Cursing
Minor: Terminal illness, Alcohol, Misogyny, and Pregnancy
emotional abuse is from parents, not the love interests.
