The Buddha of Suburbia, by Hanif Kureishi

adventurous funny hopeful lighthearted reflective medium-paced
Read for a queer lit class. Everyone else in the class hated it but I loved it. First person narration is witty but sometimes long winded. Immerses you deeply in 70s alternative culture through a beautiful intersectional lends. Narrator a la Holden CaulfeildĀ
