Julie, you can't freaking leave me hanging like this!
I'll go crazy without the next book! Damn!

You guys absolutely have to read this one!

It is even better than the first one, in my opinion, and even if you don't agree, well, the author is Julie freaking Kagawa, which means that the book is awesome anyway.

I have only 2 things to say about this book, giving that I am still stunned by the cliffhanger from hell:

1 - I loved this hardened, tougher, albeit still sweet and caring version of Zeke!
It was bloody great to see him all kickass and taking control of things. He is a great leader!
I absolutely cannot wait to know what truly happened with him!
I have this suspicion that

Sarren turned him into a vampire, instead of killing him

, but if that is true then I don't know what are going to be the consequences. After all, Zeke didn't want that to happen to him.
Bloody hell! I need the next book now!

2 - Allison is an awesome heroine! She is so strong. She fights for what she thinks is the right thing, thus fighting a lot of people, including herself and her own "demonic" instincts, she never gives up, she doesn't allow herself to be reduced to a hysteric mess, even when everything seems lost and she does everything she can for everybody, even when they don't deserve it.
I hope she doesn't lose herself to the beast because of what happened with Sarren in the end of the book.
