T: The Story of Testosterone, the Hormone That Dominates and Divides Us by Carole Hooven

funny informative reflective medium-paced

5.0

This book was a clever mix of scientific explanations and personal curiosity of the writer. I enjoyed the way it was written very much, especially how she laid the chapters out in a smooth way. I appreciate the use of storytelling throughout the book by giving examples for many cases and arguments.

I loved Carole’s sense of humor throughout the book and felt as if it was more of a conversation with her rather than just a book about science. I learned a lot from it and I can already see how the knowledge I’ve gotten from the book has helped me see things in a new perspective.

Overall, I recommend reading this book if you have a natural curiosity about gender, sports, or anything to do with humans and animals. It’s very informative and encourages you to keep an open conversation about differences between males and females and all that’s in between.
