I can’t say I enjoyed this book as much as the previous ones. I feel like the writing style changed so much.
I think my main issue with this book was definitely how much sexual expression it had. I felt like it was too much at times. Perhaps I would have been ok with it if weren’t so sudden.
The character writing in this book was a lot better than in the other books. I felt like I finally got a better understanding of the whole character cast. The monsters and villains were really interesting too.
Still, the book started off so rough, with Elena being a spirit, not being able to speak or
read and acting childlike. Strange kissing rituals and such.
