A Matter of Time Book IV by Mary Calmes
4.0
Another moment of honesty. I hated this book the first time I read it. I thought Jory was way too impulsive, and I couldn't see why Sam would put up with all that crap. I wanted to shake Jory for what I saw then was his stupidity.
But, after all the "He Said, He Said" features in the author's newsletters, I have come to appreciate the goodness of Jory's heart. That helped me understand and take a different perspective on Jory's behavior in this book.
The mystery kept me at the edge of my seat, even knowing what was going to happen, because of the twists and turns. But, I think my favorite parts were Jory's ingenuity in the face of figuring out the case and figuring out how to accomplish things with difficult odds.
I can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes from here.

The whole getting handcuffs cut off in a sex toys store was my favorite. Ingenious!I can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes from here.
