Had me emotional in many ways. Seeing lgbt+ Afrolatina representation in a story reminds me how important that is, and I need more of it haha! This was my entry into Acevado's writing and I can't wait to read more of her work. I recommend giving the audiobook a listen too! Elizabeth Acevado and Melania-Luisa Marte narrate it so beautifully. Some say they sounded similar, but I had no problem telling them apart while listening. The sisters, Camino and Yahaira felt so real, I love that. *adds to favorites*
