Wow, this was a quick read. Started it in the morning & finished by evening.
It wasn’t really eerie or scary but the backstory of everything was quite sad since you could say ‘based on a true events’. I honestly didn’t see it going like that when I first grabbed the book but I liked it.
This is the second book I have read by the author since I have read ‘Wake’ but haven’t finished the series yet & would just say her writing style is different from other books. It takes abit to get use to it since third person is tricking for me but I’m not mad about it. It works in its own way for this story.
Also side note on the romance side which is very small in this but I found it cute whenever Kendall wants to slap Jacian it means she wants to kiss him.. awwwh. Teenage love!
