Seeing how many times I've DNFed this book for various reasons (mainly for how much the first half dragged on for too long), I thought i would be disappointed by the end of it.
But then i read the second half and OMG...I couldn't stop reading, and when I wasn't reading, I was constantly thinking about it.
The writing is a MASTERPIECE. I've never seen love described in such a breathtakingly beautiful way as Madeline Miller did here. I kept on reading some sentences and paragraphs over and over again in awe.
The last part definitely shattered my soul in pieces.
