Roihan by Immortal Angel
4.0
This one was a bit of a struggle for me as I had not read book 1. However, after I got immersed in the world I was hooked.
Roihan has finally been freed from his control chip. He knows his wife is out there somewhere, if he could only remember!
Aria first female cyborg and only knows the "truth" fed to her by the Ardak. She can not only speak with the Ardak but also with their ships. But she is not some Automaton. When she discovers that they plan on attacking a planet she links up with Roihan. But as her memories of her past life filter through, some glimpses of Roihan also appear. What is Roihan to her? What memories do they both share?
Loved that Roihan never gave up on finding his wife, even with the stiff obstacles of not remembering pretty much anything about her. Aria may be a unique cyborg but she is still a female, ne who is slowly remembering all the pain and experiments she has been through and what she has lost. Love really does strike twice and I loved watching them fall for each other once more.
