I enjoyed this book, though it left me with mixed feelings.
The prose is beautiful, but also keeps the reader at a distance from the characters.
Sam and Sadie are both somewhat unreliable narrators. Trying to parse together what might have happened and why is part of what makes this book an interesting read.
