Here’s what I’ll say. Extremely easy to read, never lost interest, knew it was dark but didn’t struggle reading it. The last 25% (kindle user!) of this book finally flipped it for me. I felt uncomfortable, in shock, heart broken, confused… the last 15% I felt like I should not finish this book in public. And the last 10% proved me right. When I tell you I was snot nose SOBBING?! I love when a book can emotionally hit you that hard. Made it a really great read for me. It will have you so twisted with emotions. People gave me crazy looks when I told them I was reading this book, but it’s more than what it seems.

I 100% did not need the final twist. For a book not relying on some huge twist, it sure did have one. It didn’t feel necessary. I stopped crying from grief and cried from horror. I never needed that! It could’ve totally not existed.Graphic: Sexual assault, Child abuse, Sexual violence, Pedophilia, Suicide attempt, Suicidal thoughts, and Suicide
