Paris Was Ours by Penelope Rowlands

4.0

Beautiful insights into the sometimes jarring reality of moving to a foreign city, but also contains just enough whimsy and Parisienne romanticism to make it an enjoyable read for a bit of escapism. I feel like if I ever decided to move to Paris I'd be a touch more prepared for the highs and lows of it after reading this - a really well curated collection of memoirs.
