I love a timeline switch, and it worked perfectly to build suspense in this book. I found it hard to root for Jessica, which was the point, but at the same time I didn’t think she’d actually killed Heather. However, the final bit of information at the very end was brilliantly eerie. Jessica was coldblooded As events unfolded it got kind of predictable, but overall it was a very engaging read. I just wanted to know what happened the whole time.
Update: it’s been three days since I finished this book, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it, nor have I read anything else. That’s powerful
